Homecoming Fun with Friends!!

Last night was Homecoming...sadly, the Matadors lost.

The best thing about Mommy working at the high school is that all of her students LOVE Cheney & Chandler. Mommy helps with the Flag Runners so we get to be on the track from time to time. It is so cool for C & C!!

Ansley loves Cheney & Chandler.....she comes over to babysit sometimes. Ansley was in Mommy's class when she was a sophomore. She will graduate this year. We will miss her!!

Madison has been over to babysit too. She is so much fun because she plays with C & C a lot....that makes her a fabulous babysitter!!

Jonathan is the BEST flag runner.....he ran the entire Homecoming parade route on Thursday night....carrying a flag. Cheney thinks he is cool!! Jonathan let Cheney stand by him during the school song last night.

PSF-The Burning "M"

For years, it has been a tradition for the Homecoming Pep Rally to end with the Burning M. We have always been involved in all the Homecoming activities. It is just fun. Cheney & Chandler enjoy participating & are already looking forward to their days in high school. Of course, they get a lot of attention because my students know all about them & many of them go out of their way to say HELLO to them.

We are celebrating Homecoming this week. Tomorrow night, the Matadors take on the Cougars.

GOAL!!

Soccer season was supposed to start on September 12th, but we got some much needed rain so it was delayed. That is ok, we needed the rain!! We kicked off our season this past Saturday. Cheney has improved SO MUCH. I was amazed at his ball handling.....

He scored his 1st teams goal....look at #5!!

Weekend Of Camping

We didn't have a football game this weekend so we decided to head to Leisure Resort to just hang out & relax!! It is only 30 minutes down the road so we don't spend much time traveling there.

The kids LOVE camping.....any excuse to not stay clean is always a plus!!

Lance went on his 1st of many trips....Can you tell he had a blast?

They really do play well together....but they can annoy each other in the same breath, but we always seem to have fun spending time together!!

Because of the recent rains, the water was moving pretty fast & was pretty cold!!

As I was tucking Chandler into bed tonight, I asked her if she had fun this weekend. She said "Yes. Can we go back tomorrow after school?" Cheney thinks we should just move into the camper & live at the campground.....um, I don't think so!!

Cheney loves Legos.....but after he builds the object that each set is supposed to make, he doesn't do anything with them. I have been trying to convince him to be creative & make up new things....he finally did!

Matador Cheerleader!

MeMe finished Chandler's cheerleader uniform this week. She wore it to school on Friday & was the hit of preschool!!

It rained the entire way to the game & when we first got there. Mommy rode the bus with the flag runners so I was dressed for rain. By the time Chandler got there, the rain had stopped!!

Several times this summer, I would send the kids outside to play. They would play for a while & then things would get kinda quiet.....

I would find them in their Daddy's shop-watching TV....exactly the reason I sent them outside....so they wouldn't watch TV all day!!

Itching To Hunt

Hunting season is just around the corner.....the boys took the guns out the other day to get some target practice.

Every year that we go on vacation, I buy Chandler a dress that was made in whatever place we are visiting. In Cabo, we found a lady who has a store & handmakes her clothes. She is very proud of her product & loves to show it off.

This year, Chandler walked in & immediately picked out this dress. She LOVES to wear it....it is great for twirling around!!
