Daddy's New Office

Many of you know that Daddy wasn't working for the waterpark company anymore. Because of the economy, people aren't building entertainment parks anymore. The company had to downsize so Daddy was looking for a new job. Pop's company was looking to expand & open a new office in a new town....Daddy was blessed to be looking for a job at just the right time. God is always in control!! Daddy will be opening the new location of Mid-Tex Propane tomorrow in Gonzales. YAY!! He is very excited & we know this will be an exciting venture for him!!

Since we didn't have school on Friday, we drove over to Gonzales to check out the new shop...it is nicer than the original location!!

Tonight, we headed to the Friday Night Lights!! It was our 1st game that was COLD!!

Cheney & his buddies, Hayden & Kyle. They enjoyed watching the game, but decided they would have more fun at the deer lease.

Chandler & Brynlee.....what cuties!! These girls got their giggle boxes going & couldn't stop.

After a hard fought game, we lost 21-14....BUMMER!!

PSF-Fun At The Fair

It is County Fair Weekend. It is a tradition for us to go to the rodeo & midway on Thursday night because we can get free tickets. Plus, we don't have school on Friday so we can sleep in!! Chandler met up with her friend, Holt. Holt is exactly 1 month older than Chandler. Tonight, they rode several rides together.

This makes me laugh! She MUST be a crazy motorcycle driver. I will save all these pictures & when they are seniors....GUESS WHO WILL HAVE THE BEST PICTURES TO CONTRIBUTE TO DIFFERENT EVENTS??

Lance's New Trick

Lance learned a new trick recently....he really is a good boy--even if he gets himself into some trouble at times!!

Cops & Kids Moonlight 5K Run

Saturday night, we ran in the 1st annual Cops & Kids Moonlight 5k run. It was fun to run at night but it rained all day so it was pretty soggy.

Cheney said he is running in the next race with us!!

Aunt Reva entered her 1st race....WOO HOO!!

At the last minute, we convinced MeMe to participate....so here are the girls!!

MeMe got 2nd place in her age group....GOOD JOB!!

I got 3rd place in my age category.....WOO HOO!!

Family Fun Night

Last night, the football game was in Kerrville. We decided not to go because it was at least a 2 hour drive there & Cheney had an 8 am soccer game this morning. So, because we had a free night, we let the kids decide what to do. They wanted to go eat & then see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"

They anxiously awaited the start of the movie. The movie was cute, but Mommy would have rather gone to see "Fame." Oh well, the kids had fun & that was all that mattered!!

PSF-Funny & Sad

Several months ago, we got rid of our truck & got a car so we could get rid of our payment. It is the 1st time since we have been married that we have NO car payment....I love this!! The car gets very good gas mileage too. I know that Billy HATES driving the car, but I really appreciate his willingness. However, he needs a truck....

He has taken on some extra yard work to make a little extra $$$....taking the lawnmower over can be a bit of a problem. The funny thing--when Cheney saw this picture, he said, "Who tried to do that?" Then, realized it was his Daddy's car.
