Big Lou's Pizza

We have been searching high & low for GOOD pizza....not the kind that is made by the chain pizza places. A few weeks ago, we heard about Big Lou's Pizza. It had recently been featured on Man Vs. Food & many people told us it was very yummy. On Saturday night, we decided to try it. We took 3 suburbans of people....17 in all. It was a very fun night, but we had to wait a looooong time for our table. However, most of us didn't mind....we had good company!!

I am ready for our next trip to Big Lou's. Next time we might have to try the 42 inch pizza!! IT WAS HUGE!!

Granny Nette's House

Cheney & Chandler LOVE to go to Granny Nette's house. They always have a good time when they are there.

The best part about Granny Nette's house....

She has LOTS of pets. This is Katie. Katie always protects the kids when they are over. The best part about Katie--she sleeps in the bed with them. They love that!!

Future Mary Kay Saleswoman

I have started a new venture in my life. I have started selling Mary Kay. I needed to make a little money & I love the product so it makes sense to start selling it myself. On New Year's Day, I practiced on Aunt Reva & Grandma. Chandler intently listened to me & then got her own makeup.....she practiced on Pop!! Thank goodness Pop is a good sport!!

If anyone needs any Mary Kay products, let me know!!

Creativity

We have talked about MeMe & her creativity before, but this idea was just so cute!!

MeMe saw a show where they were making things for the NEW YEAR celebration. She said "I can do that." and she did!!

Hard At Work.....NOT!!

The day after Christmas & all the decorations were coming down. Cheney & Chandler went to MeMe & Pop's house to help undecorate. They were VERY helpful!! Yeah right!!

A Date With Two Handsome Boys!

The other night, Chandler spent the night with Granny Nette & Papa Jim. Cheney & Daddy decided to take me on a date. We ate dinner at Chili's & then went bowling. It was fun--even though I did not bowling good at all!!

Hello 2010!

We rang in the New Year with tradition. We went out to dinner, then back to MeMe & Pop's house for fireworks & homemade sopapillas....YUM!! We have not been able to shoot fireworks for several years because it has been too dry, but this winter we have had tons of rain so they lifted the ban. I am not sure who had more fun....the younger kids or the big boys!!

Daddy & Marty were shooting bottle rockets as cars drove by on the road.....this is something that was started with Uncle Jeff & Daddy. These boys were warned....their wives were NOT bailing them out of jail.

Cheney was so excited that he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off.....he made us laugh.

Cheney had a friend spend the night & then some friends from up the street came over. They had fun shooting bottle rockets together!! Chandler was afraid of the fireworks so she spent most of her time in the cabana.

After we finished the fireworks, we lit a bonfire. It was so hot that we didn't spend much time around it. Chandler came out for that.
