Christmas time on the Riverwalk is always beautiful....but we have only seen the pictures so we decided to visit ourselves this year.

More Hunting

We headed to the deer lease this weekend to get some hunting done before Christmas!  

Of course, we take our electronics to the deer blind...

Madison joined us in the blind....the girls were laying on the floor & Madison quickly fell asleep.

Cheney shot this spike....all by himself with no help from his dad.  He sighted it in and had a good, clean shot.  I am happy that he is happy!

Santa at Morgan's Wonderland

This past weekend,we went to visit Santa at Morgan's Wonderland.  Morgan's Wonderland is a children's park made for all children but especially for handicap children.  It was a really, really a fun place to visit!

 

Cheney asked Santa for a mountain bike & Chan asked Santa for a princess scooter.

 

After visiting Santa, we enjoyed all the fun stuff at the park....Chan had a blast on the merry go round!

The petting zoo was super cool too!

After playing for a while, we took a train ride around the entire park!

To end the night, we did a little fishing in the pond.  

Morgan's Wonderland is a special place to visit & we are looking forward to going back.

Tang Soo Do Belt Test

Cheney has been steadily moving up at karate....Saturday he tested for his next stripe on his green belt.   He had to demonstrate his skills and break a board with his foot.

It took a couple of tries but he broke the board!!

Getting his stripe....next belt will be red & he will test for that around July/August.  After the red belt, he works on getting his black belt....he should be getting his black belt when he is about 14 or so.  CRAZY!!

These 3 boys started karate about the same time so they frequently test together.  Cheney sure has learned a lot about discipline and hard work through karate.  We are very proud of him!!

2012 Holiday Stroll

Every year, the high school dance team teaches the elementary kids a dance to perform at the Holiday Stroll event in downtown Seguin.  They call them the "Weesteppers."  Chan loves learning from the big Starsteppers.

This is the group from Jefferson along with the Starsteppers that came to their school to teach the dance.  

Hawes & Stephenson kids....we love this family!!  Cheney & Micayla have been together since they were born.  I love that we have a great family to hang out with!!

2012 Christmas Parade

Cheney is an officer for the Student Council at his school.  The Student Council rode on a float in the Christmas Parade.  Cheney always has fun!

This is Chad, Cheney (parliamentarian), Cole (vice president), and RJ (president).  Cole and RJ are Cheney's best buds!!  

The parade is always pretty with all the lighted floats!!
