Cheney & Chandler with Ms. Mina. Ms. Mina is one of the oldest members of our church, but she is faithfully there almost every Sunday. Chandler enjoys visiting Ms. Mina in her Sunday School class when she is there. Notice Cheney is not wearing his "CUTE" Easter clothes anymore? He decided that this was much more comfortable after he took his costume off.

Let The Swimming Begin...

This evening, we had an "Uncover The Pool Party." Thankfully the weather was beautiful!!

While the guys got the cover ready to remove, the kids helped MeMe feed Rocket & Toby. As soon as they heard the "ZIP" of the cover being pulled off & onto the grass, all 4 of them made a mad dash to the pool. I wish that I had known that was going to be their reaction because I would have filmed it.

Poor MeMe was left to feed the Alpacas by herself.

We told them NO SWIMMING!! The water was too cold!

Deano & Cheney decided to try their hand at pressure washing the pool cover. Thanks to the muddy rain it was very dirty this year.

They had more fun shooting each other & then they decided it made an excellent slip-n-slide!!

Cheney & Chandler got a new trampoline-FINALLY!! The other one was destroyed by the high winds last May. Thanks MeMe & Pop, more fun just in time for summer!!!

About a week ago, MeMe & I took the kids to JCPenney to take their yearly birthday pictures. Now I need to tell you the story--this is the 3rd time we have had pictures scheduled. The 1st time, Chandler REFUSED to take any pictures. The 2nd time, I left the bag with part of their clothes at home...seriously, we didn't have one complete outfit. So, that brings us to the 3rd time. Needless to say, Cheney was extremely cooperative and Chandler was about as cooperative as she will ever be!! We got tons of cute pics of Cheney & a few of Chandler. JCPenney recently revamped their photo studio & I was very impressed with the creativity of the pictures.

McKenna Children's Museum

Today, we visited a really cool museum. It is the McKenna Children's Museum in New Braunfels. I had heard about it for a while & everyone told me that it is really cool. Since Uncle Jeff & Aunt Kerry are here, we decided to head over there this morning.

The 1st area we visited was the Space Exploration--this was Cheney's favorite area. Cheney had 2 minutes to get the planets in order. He made it!!

After the space area, we moved over to the emergency room. Cheney was looking at slides in the microscope.
