EXPRESS VS. SAND GNATS

I don't know if I have told you, but our team name is the EXPRESS. I think it is a pretty cool team name--like the Round Rock Express. However, there are some teams in our league that I wouldn't want to be called. One of them is the SAND GNATS and that is who we played today. The weather was beautiful--it was a little too cool for me but the sun was out early. It made it a great day for a ballgame!!

We got to bat first today. Cheney was the last batter this week.

After 3 innings, the game is over. We don't know who won because we don't keep score--everyone bats everytime!! The kids don't care. They just want to have fun & it seems like they do judging by the smiles on their faces!

Dirtiest Jobs

Cheney & Chandler are trying to make their version of "Dirtiest Jobs." They helped Pop scoop alpaca poop!! It was smelly, but they thought it was great fun!!

Future Matadors??

Since Cheney got his basketball goal for his birthday, he has gone outside almost every afternoon to play. Most afternoons, he puts on his IPOD to listen to music while he is playing. On Saturday, Micayla & Justin brought Chandler her birthday present--they weren't able to be at her party. When Cathy asked me what to get Chandler, I knew right away...her OWN basketball. I had seen some pink ones at Target & they got her one!! Today, they were both home playing so I snapped some pictures.

Easter: Stephenson Family Style

Billy's family postponed their Easter celebration until this weekend because it was going to be too cool to be outside for a long time on Easter Sunday. Unfortunately, it was rainy this Sunday, but they still met for lunch. Chandler and I didn't go because she still had fever. Sorry you had to miss it, baby girl. I know you would have had fun running around with your cousins!!

This afternoon, Cheney had his 6th Birthday Party at ZDT. We had tons of fun!! Unfortunately, Chandler wasn't feeling so good so she went home early with MeMe & Pop. Thanks MeMe & Pop for helping us out!! We love you!!

Once again, MeMe outdid herself with an AWESOME cake. Cheney's invitations had a hunting theme so MeMe made a "hunting" cake. It looked & tasted GREAT!!

Cheney & Micayla have been friends since birth. It is amazing to see how much they have grown. I am so glad that they are friends!!

Cheney & Deano--they are best buddies. Cheney is soooo excited that Deano will be going on vacation with us this summer. I am thinking that the plane ride is going to be a loud one: 6 kids sitting together!!

That was exhausting!! I wish that I could say I made it to the top, but I didn't. I almost rang the bell, but I just couldn't. They said I could try again...but my legs were TIRED!!

Where did I go?? Can you see my feet?? I was 16-18 ft. in the air when I was at the top. It was fun, but it took my breath away.

Cheney, Mommy loves you so much!! I know that I had a great time at your birthday party & I am sure that you did too!! Thanks for being such a wonderful kid. You make me so proud. I know that I am going to have fun watching you grow up, but I know that it will make me sad too.
