Are You Ready For Some Football?

WE SURE ARE!!

The Matadors opened their season this past week by playing in the Dave Campbell's Football Classic at the Alamodome in San Antonio. I have to admit: I had my doubts about the game, but it turned out fabulous because we won BIG!! And it was pretty cool to watch the replays on the jumbotron....I think we need a jumbotron at Matador Stadium!!

Daddy, Chandler, & Cheney were ready to cheer!!

Chandler & Keagan had fun the entire game. Poor Keagan fell the day before & that is why his face is all scratched up.

The boys of fall!! Rene, Hayden, Cheney, & Graham had a blast trying to get on the jumbotron!!

Chandler loved posing with the Matador....she is ready to be a cheerleader!!

Mommy & Me Monday

Last week, we started school. As a teacher, the 1st day of school is a big day for me too. I started my 14th year of teaching at the same high school that Billy and I both attended. My kids will probably attend that same school too.

They are growing up so fast!!

Preschool Meet The Teacher

Chandler has been going to "extended care" at her preschool for the past week, but this afternoon, we went to her "Meet The Teacher." Ms. Stollewerk is her preschool teacher next year. She is super-excited about the year!!

I know that she will have a fabulous year!!

1st Day Of School

Today was the 1st day of the 2010-2011 School Year.

Meet The Teacher

We had "Meet The Teacher" tonight. Cheney was semi-excited....only because if he starts school tomorrow he is one day closer to summer vacation!! Silly boy!! He will have two teachers this year plus his GT teacher. I think it will be a great year!!

Ms. Ball will be his homeroom, Language Arts, & Social Studies teacher. I think he will really like her.

Ms. Brothers will be his Math & Science teacher. Ms. Brothers taught Uncle Jeff when he was in elementary school. She said "Hello, Uncle Jeff!"

Sadly, after "Meet The Teacher," we had to get the mohawk caught off....until next summer!!

Back To School Dinner

We took the kids out for a "back to school celebration." They had at blast at Kobe Steakhouse!!

Excited about our big meal!!

Trying sushi for the 1st time....he loves California Rolls but not too excited about the rest. Chandler wouldn't even get close to it.
