Stephenson Family Thanksgiving

It is always fun to hang out with the Stephenson family. Mainly because there are tons of kids to hang out with....with the Cloughly family, C & C are frequently the only kids--unless you count Travis & Uncle Mitch. HAHA!!

There are 9 great grandkids in the Stephenson family--5 girls and 4 boys.

Riley, Chandler, & Madison created a girls only table....they are missing two girls from this group though: Konni & Lily!!

Cheney, Kase, & Karson--Hunter was sitting with the older people so he is missing from the Stephenson great-grandboy picture.

It sure is fun to have cousins to play with!!

Mommy & Me Monday-Deer Lease

This past weekend after Thanksgiving dinner, the whole family headed to the deer lease. Chandler and I were 2 of 4 girls who were there with over 10 boys. Even thought we were outnumbered, we had a blast!! Chandler & I don't get up early to go sit in the deer blind but we do go out for the evening hunt.

Turkey Bowl

The other night, we went to Cheney's school for a Turkey Bowl....yes, we bowled with frozen turkeys! It was fun for the whole family!!

After Cheney sent his turkey across the gym floor, he had to go get it and take it back to the next person in line.

The Dads challenged the Moms....Daddy & Trevor were listening to the instructions. The funny part: the game had to be stopped & the Dads had to be reminded that they were using 7 lb frozen turkeys....they were throwing them so hard, they were putting dents & holes in the gym wall!! haha

It was GREAT fun!!

The Buyer

Several weeks ago, I blogged about Cheney's art show. He got Honorable Mention. His art was on display for a while at the Silver Center. After the showing, his artwork was returned and he was notified that he had a buyer!! Needless to say, he was EXCITED!!

Last night, he delivered his piece to the buyer....he was so thrilled!!

Mommy & Me Monday--Rock And Roll

This weekend, Mommy & Daddy ran a 1/2 marathon at the Rock and Roll Marathon in San Antonio. It was sooooo much fun!!

MeMe & Pop took Cheney & Chandler over to watch us cross the finish line. It sure is cool to have a cheering section!!

There were over 30,000 people running....that is A LOT of medals!!

There is Daddy on the far right....the last mile is uphill. GOOD JOB DADDY!!

Our family--I am so glad that Cheney & Chandler are learning the importance of exercise at a young age....they are looking forward to their 1st 1/2 marathon.

Pop's Family B-Day Dinner

Thursday night, we went out to dinner with our family for Pop's birthday. The waitress thought she would embarrass Pop & make him do something for his dessert....well, she doesn't know that you can't really embarrass Pop!!

Pop had to ride the broomstick like a horse around the restaurant.....he had a great time!!

Chandler & Pop really enjoyed his birthday dessert....peach cobbler!!

Learning New Things

Daddy decided that it was time to teach the kids how to fix things around the house sooooo they learned how to put on a new toilet seat!!

Cowboy Day At Church

Today was Cowboy Day at church. We all wore our jeans & boots. It was fun!!

Chandler & Kadie had a blast playing with each other.

She had fun riding on the horse.

Cheerleader Birthday Party!!

Today, Chandler went to Brynlee's birthday party!! It was a lot of fun!! There was a REAL cheerleader there who taught her some real cheers!!

1st they had to stretch.

Then, Fallon, the cheerleader, taught them the words to a cheer.

After learning the words, they learned the motions for the cheer. This was the hard part!!

Chandler got to see her good friend, Kadie. Kadie is in kindergarten now so they miss each other.

Fallon gave each girl a certificate and took a picture with her. So sweet!!

There were a bunch of cheerleaders there!!
