Many of you know that Daddy wasn't working for the waterpark company anymore. Because of the economy, people aren't building entertainment parks anymore. The company had to downsize so Daddy was looking for a new job. Pop's company was looking to expand & open a new office in a new town....Daddy was blessed to be looking for a job at just the right time. God is always in control!! Daddy will be opening the new location of Mid-Tex Propane tomorrow in Gonzales. YAY!! He is very excited & we know this will be an exciting venture for him!!
Since we didn't have school on Friday, we drove over to Gonzales to check out the new shop...it is nicer than the original location!!

I am impressed with the new place. Now the REALLY hard work begins--getting the customers to come in by the droves. Maybe if they see Chandler romping on the front porch they will stop by. Hopefully, Dad can get Cheney to start working the desk. LOL
Very cool... I went to school K-12 in Gonzales, and my mom works at the high school (my dad retired last year). It's my other hometown (my parents live 12 miles from Gonzales but only five miles from Shiner, so I have to claim both towns).
If Billy ever needs suggestions of where to eat during lunch, just let me know! :-)
Cheney, I am sorry you had to work so hard! Daddy must be a slave driver. Great looking place. Glad that Mid-Tex is expanding and you were right there to help out.
