Chandler's church friend...

I have posted about Cheney's Sunday School friends before so I decided to post about Chandler's Sunday School friend. This is Joshua. He will be 1 soon. Chandler loves to boss him around--most of the time poor Joshua doesn't know how to handle Chandler.

Cheney's Fort

I got home late tonight because I had a hair appointment this afternoon. I walked into the house after 7 pm & it was completely quiet. I walked around & there seemed to be NO ONE home. I went upstairs & found that Cheney had built his own fort-with his Dad & Chandler's help of course. All 3 of them plus Lucy were in the fort reading books. I remember building forts over our beds when we were growing up--it was so much fun! I remember staying at Erin's house for several days & there were sheets all over her room. I was proud to see that Cheney thought it was fun too! I am also proud that Daddy is such a GREAT DAD!! He dropped everything tonight to play with his kids. THANKS DADDY!! Of course, Cheney is asleep in his fort right now. I feel confident that the forts will get more & more creative as Cheney gets older.

The Madness Has Begun

We started our 1st baseball season today...I am sure that there will be many more to come. Cheney loved every minute of it. He is especially proud of the fact that his Daddy is his coach. We will post more pictures as the season progresses.

Just Like His Mama...

Everyone always says that Cheney is just like his Daddy-he looks like & he acts like him. But he is just like his Mama when it comes to organizing... Grandma dropped him off at my school today & I had the PERFECT job for him! My class set of textbooks are numbered & my students can NEVER get them back in order. This drives me crazy, but they think it is just fine to put them in whatever order they want. So when Cheney got there, he gladly got to work. He didn't want any help so I decided to take his picture...

Tonight...

It was cold and VERY WINDY tonight so the kids were in their PJ's pretty early. They have now started to enjoy watching cartoons together although Chandler seems to "annoy" her brother.

Chandler has FINALLY figured out what to do when I get the camera out. I was taking some more pictures of the kids & Lucy. She decided to "ham it up" for me!!

More Fun At MeMe's House

Billy and I had to go work at the church this past Saturday morning, so Cheney & Chandler went to spend the morning with MeMe. Luckily, MeMe was willing to take Lucy too! I think they had a great time!! When I drove up, Chandler was only wearing her flip flops and Cheney was in a pair of boxers. They spent the ENTIRE 3 hours outside...

Hanging out on the trampoline-yes, it is on the ground Pop hasn't ever bought a new one after it was destroyed by high winds last May. The kids still enjoy it though!

After all that playing, Lucy was exhausted! But I don't think she got much sleep with these two "cuddling" with her.

Chandler loves Lucy-as long is she isn't trying to "bite" her hands or grab onto her shirt hem.

As you can see, the weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL on Saturday. Unfortunately, it is cold again today. We are all ready for Spring-cold, windy, rainy weather--GO AWAY AND STAY AWAY!!!!!
