Big Girl Shoes

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up Terryn from her GaGa's house. She was going to stay with me for a little while until her Mommy got off work. Well, she showed up wearing this high heels...which Chandler promptly decided were hers...she just makes me laugh everyday...

The Circus Came To Town!

The Shriner Circus came to our town!! I really wanted to take the kids to the big circus in San Antonio this year, but we just never bought tickets. So, MeMe & Pop got to take them to their 1st circus. They went to the early show & it doesn't look like many people were there. Oh well. They had fun anyway...

MeMe sent me a text (yes, she is learning how to text!) that said

Mommy is serious about that homework....Cheney had to write his spelling words 3x each while he waited for the show to start. Man, she is serious!!

Apparently, the motorcycles were loud...but according to Cheney they were BEST!!

We are so lucky that MeMe & Pop live so close by & are willing to spend time with Cheney & Chandler. WE LOVE YOU!!!

Makin' Mommy Proud!!

WOO HOO!! Cheney had his 1st spelling test last Friday. I was nervous. I wanted him to do great--ok, I wanted him to spell all the words correctly!! Mommy was always a good speller...and I want Cheney to be a good speller. Well, he not only made a 100% but look at his AWESOME handwriting!! His teacher wrote "GREAT" and "BEAUTIFUL!" I wish my high schoolers would write so I could at least read their handwriting!!

WAY TO GO BUDDY!! MOMMY IS PROUD!!

Midnight Visitor

We have had a raccoon visit our backporch for quite a while now. We have never been able to get a picture....until tonight. I know it isn't the best picture, but the GOOD camera is at the deer lease with the boys. This raccoon has been driving us CRAZY!!

Saturday Night Fun

Daddy decided to take us out to dinner tonight. We went to Texas Roadhouse-YUMMY!! Chandler was funny...she copied everything I did to get ready. She took a shower with me, blow dried her hair, put her hair in velcro rollers, put on eyeshadow & lip gloss, lotion, perfume, etc. After we were all dressed, we took a picture.

Cheney is going to the deer lease tomorrow with his Daddy & today they discovered that he has grown 2 in. since January so he needs new camo pants. We didn't want to take him all the way over to the dressing room in Academy so he is hiding between the racks to try the pants on.

Silly boy! He was so worried that the girl who was working on that aisle would see him. I said she couldn't see him because he was hiding!!

Tomorrow they are heading to the deer lease to work. There will be a bunch of boys there so Mommy & Chandler are staying home. I hope they have fun!! I am sure you will be able to see pics later on over on Daddy's blog.
