Today, I decided to start a new tradition. Instead of dying eggs, we decided to make Easter cookies. It was a fun (& MESSY!!) experience.
Daddy had lots of help rolling out the dough. After the cookies were baked & cooled, we iced them. We didn't start icing until 10 pm!! There was lots of silly laughter because we were getting tired!!
Chandler & Mommy used a lot of pink & purple icing....we love pretty colors.
Cheney & Daddy got crazy with green & orange....their expressions look similar!!
Finished products!! It was so fun to make cookies with the kids even if there was flour & sugar EVERYWHERE!!

This looks like lots of fun. With all that sugar, how long did you guys have to run around the neighborhood to get it out of your system? Sure hope you didn't run into the Easter bunny making his rounds.
