Unfortunately, Cheney made some poor decisions at school this week. His punishment is no electronics for one week. That means no TV, computer, Nintendo DS.....nothing..... Today was the 1st day. Saturdays are usually filled with some mindless TV watching & video game playing. Today, he had to find other things to do. Quite honestly, I am glad that he has had to do another things. Yes, he has been a little mopey, but he has done puzzles, played games, took the dog on a walk, tossed a football with his Daddy, read a book, and did art. Those are all things that he NEEDS to do more of.....
In a strange way, I am kind of glad that he had to lose those privileges. We have had a great day, filled with great conversations.
Tonight, the kids made birthday cards for Pop....

Sounds kinda like me and my computer crashing. Sort of a blessing in disguise. :)

Sorry Cheney made some bad choices, but I am glad that Mommy and Daddy care enough to make you think about those bad choices. Maybe you will think twice about doing whatever it was again.
Was it really so bad playing the way that Meme and Pop always had to play when they were growing up----was there even electricity back then?

I'm sorry Cheney made some bad choices. That's never good. But, I agree with Gram...at least Mommy & Daddy care enough to help you correct them (too many mommies & daddies these days don't).
I think it would be nice if we could all punish OURSELVES every once in a while like that! No electronics...I can only dream!
