At church today, they wanted people to take poinsettias home. We didn't really want any but Mrs. Nancy said we should take some home & give them to our neighbors. So, we took two. As soon as we got home, Cheney went to deliver them. I am so proud of him. He was so polite & told them "Merry Christmas."
Our neighbor across the street just lost his wife last week. Maybe getting this poinsettia brought a smile to his face.
Walking to the next house....
Cheney visited with this neighbor for a few minutes. He told her where he went to church. She offered him some money for the plant, but he refused to take it! Good boy!! He came home very proud of himself & told me that they were both such nice people. In our busy world, we rarely take time to visit with our neighbors. Thanks Mrs. Nancy for your great idea!!

Cheney- I think it's extra cool that you went all by yourself. Someday you'll thank Mom and Dad for letting you live life lessons so young.
Doesn't it feel great to take time to give a little of yourself AND a pretty plant? Cheney, you should thank mommy & daddy for letting you go by yourself-----your neighbors got to see a nice young man.
Cheney, I am so proud of you. It was such a nice thing you did. When people get old they enjoy seeing young people do something for them. Thanks for being such a nice polite young man.
Cheney I'm proud of you! You are an awesome little boy. Get well soon so you can join Daddy at the deer lease!
What a thoughtful little boy! You've raised him well.
